I have gotten many of my xtals to re-crystal them thru www.icmfg.com but
that was my prefrence. Other of your choice im sure could do a good job
also.. as far a providing info the the xtal mfg. just tell them the make and
model standard RP70u and they have all the info on hand ..but make sure one
thing since there were a few standards made that have the solder in xtal and
some the plugged into the holder... just make note of the crystal style when
ordering..

What freq. is the repeater presently on at this time?
There is not much info on the web about the CTN34 tone boards.
they are end/dec and as you can tell Dip switch selectable.. for the
standard ctcss tones.
if the unit was built for 450-470mhz and u go that low im sure you will have
to do some work to the receiver to have good rx sense I have gotten them
down to 442.100 with no problem but they start to get real sharp on the
tuning not giving you much adjustment up or down on the slugs more like
1/16th of a turn and its gone.. so tune slow when doing so. if i can help
fell free to contact me directly brent @ tnweb.com
