Robert, Try rinsing metal polish away with plain water, then blast the "clean" surface with contact cleaner and watch the black grime sheet off. I've found that not all contact cleaners are created equal. I've been using WAXIE #410510 which has a high-velocity/high-volume spray. James K7ICU
