...what I typically use. I tried removing the pad on my spectrum analyzer's input after tuning up a 440 pass can, & it pulled the pass response enough to add about half a dB of loss to the target frequency. The tracking generator input doesn't pull as badly, but it's still noticeable. Bob NO6B
