That is interesting Gran. The noise did not change with weather conditions, be it wet or dry, dead calm or gale force winds. I didn't try spraying with water while testing, but did tap on all the dipoles and wiggle as much coax as I could reach. It didn't seem to react to any of that. It was very noisy during all this testing, but not much more or less so than at any other time.
