It might be worth while to build a couple pole L/C band pass filter for the 6m model band.

Last time I bought these for a VEX remote I got 4 pairs for $16 Same radio useful for ground and air models. People scratch their head trying to figure out what the color code flags mean when they cant see the channel plackard.
