re: Older RLC Controller Programming Question. A local ham club has a 2 meter repeater on port 1 and a uhf link radio (not duplex) on port 2. I don't use Link Controllers so I figured one of you here on the Group could save us a fair bit of time.
Does someone with an older RLC Multi Port Controller have the simplex Tx ID programming information/examples they would be nice enough to share. Do you require the exact Controller Model or is the format for all their RLC Multi-Port Controllers the same format? We only need to add an ID on the second port used for the simplex uhf link. Programming examples and information for the 2nd port (only) would be much appreciated. thank you in advance for your replies. cheers, skipp skipp025 at yahoo.com [pasted text from Ham Club member requesting help] We have an older model RLC controller which doesn't have a user-friendly programming method. The trouble is putting an ID on the transmitter on the Mountain can be something of a pain because the controller only wants to send out ID's over radios that are configured in "repeater" mode. In "remote base" mode, the ID doesn't seem to want to work properly.
