If you have a RX 5C or 2C -or- a phase 5C or 2C ICOM, you can transplant the compensation circuit into a EC PLL ICOM. There are only 3 pins involved. There is some degree of skill required as the compensator circuit is built on a ceramic/glass substrate and is somewhat fragile.
