Hi, sorry for the late reply, responding to the list as most
appropriate.

An update on the i9305...

1) I realised I was compiling replicant with the wrong kernel.
2) I managed to get SMS messaging to work on the i9305, using the
correct kernel. Nothing in code was changed, it was just a mistake
whilst building the images (due to me working mostly offline). The
scintill's smdk kernel disables selinux at boot, so I didn't even need
to bother making the rules for it.
3) In the mean time I had a look at postmarketOS. I tried their kernel
(defaults) and didn't get the modem to work.
4) I tried using scintill's smdk kernel with it. Unfortunately it
didn't boot with postmarketOS.
5) I tried modifying postmarketOS's exynos4 kernel to include support
for WDM etc in the defconfig. That didn't work as far as I could tell.
6) I tried the replicant mainline kernel in postmarketOS but forgot to
cat the dtb, so it didn't work... I'm not even sure if this has support
yet for the modem either way?

To cut a long story short. Scintill's code and/with my patches work for
the i9305, Replicant 6.0 The LTE works for the internet, and SMS's work.
All that doesn't work is the audio during voice calls, other than that,
the calls seem to connect OK.

The images can be found here:

(Note I deleted the old pre-release due to the build error. The commit
you are looking for is 958e1b2 with tag scintill-replicant-6.0)

... Hopefully I've done everything correctly this time.

Apologies if I am slow to, or do not respond, I'm usually away from my
email.

... It's at this point I think I can't be of much more use, I don't
think I'd be capable myself of getting the audio working,

Josh
