Python 2.4's urllib sees a 201 as an error. We'd have to find a workaround for this. I'll look into it, but it won't be in the next couple of days, unfortunately.
Python 2.5 should work. In fact, I'd recommend upgrading to at least 2.5 anyway, because RB 1.7.x won't support 2.4. You'd have to re-easy_install RB and its dependencies and perform a site upgrade.
You will need 1.6.9. This isn't an RB bug, so it's best to stay on that release.
