RFC9008 took ages to do.
A major PITA was getting all the tables well formatted and reviewing the
changes to make sure they were all accurate.  It took time with whiteboards
and people reading what was written, rather than what they thought they'd
wrote, to find all the bugs in those tables.

We needed an abstract that was higher level than the markdown tables.
Had we had that, then it would have made our life easier, not harder.
I think that this is the right message: let us help you.
