If you are in graphical mode you need to do <ctrl><alt><f3> to get out of graphical mode and into tty mode. In this case you will goto tty3. >From there you can switch to the other tty's by doing <alt><fx> where x is the tty you want to switch to. tty2 is a shell tty3 is some of the logs tty4 and 5 also have other logging output on them. tty7 returns you to graphical mode and tty1 is text mode if you are using that. I am doing this from memory but you should have the general idea. I suspect the info you are loking for will be on tty3 though. > > On Tue, 2003-12-02 at 00:11, Matthew Smith wrote: > > Hello, > > > > I'm attempting my own rebuild, and having followed the howto (as well as the > > info on making isos and the whitebox howto) I managed to create some install > > cds. > > > > When I attempt to install the rebuild, anaconda dies as the packages start to > > install (I suspect my comps.xml file is incorrect).
