Those two versions are not compatible. The magic number doesn't increment unless the file format changes. 0x2169 is the version for 7.0.2 and 0x216e is the version for file format for 8.0.4. The 0x14 in the error message doesn't even make sense.
If you want to process these files on F10, then just download and compile the source for 7.0.2 and use the binary to process the files only.
