Actually, for RHEL 5, the "samba3x" packages provide Samba v.3.3
and can be used in place of the original "samba" rpms. They're in
the Supplementary channel. I'm not sure whether RHEL 4 has them.
You wouldn't know where the generally accessible .src.rpm's are would
you by any chance?

The .src.rpm's are in the RHEL Supplementary (v. 5 for 64-bit x86_64)
channel on the RHN website.
