Hi Colin, When i change the modules.alias, the eth0 "comes up". But dhcp on anaconda gives me the following: dhcp: ioctl SIOCGIFFLAGS failed: 19 No such device eth0 is not a wireless adapter
If i setup manually the IP addres I get: sesult of pumpSetupInterface is pumSetupInterface failed: get link - 19: No such device only have one network device: eth0 eth0 is not a wireless adapter My guess is that or could be something about the firmware, or how this version of anaconda works. I tried rhel6 and the driver loads fine, and i can ping a server. But kickstart gives me and error: no method for cmdline, and if i change boot options the maximum i get is no image files to install error. I tried also uncompressing the inirtd.img of the original rhel5 and added the kernel on rhel6 bootcd puting all the modules under /modules.cgz, and here i have some problems making anaconda load e1000e module. So i'm a little bit lost here :) thanks for the patienca! On Thu, Jul 22, 2010 at 3:29 AM, Colin Coe <[email protected]> wrote: > Just re-read the original post. Does the NIC ever come up?
