I uninstalled the old driver and installed the new one from my XWindows
terminal.
Things look good, but I wonder if I was careless and lucky.

I am guessing that I was replacing in-use files.
I saw a few messages that "this module version was active in the kernel"

Here is my question:

Should I have switched runlevel to get out of Xwindows, and do the whole
procedure there?

Thanks,

Mirko
