If you can take the system down, then try the following:

1. boot into rescue mode using the RedHat install media
2. use the rpm command with the "--root /mnt/sysimage" option to reinstall the packages onto the hard drive. The hard drive should be mounted at /mnt/sysimage.

Using the --root option to RPM also uses the RPM DB located under the folder that was specified using --root

I would use the same process (rpm2cpio from another system) to at least get the rpm, yum, etc. binaries back in place. Then once those are working you can use rpm/yum/etc to repair the packages and get the RPM DB back in sync.

I believe RPM, YUM and SQLITE are all uninstalled from the system. How do I get the RPM code to install? Just installed SQLite will not put the RPM back will it?

Use rpm2tgz to unpack the sqlite RPM on another system, then unpack
the resulting tarball on your affected system. This will drop the
sqlite binaries into place, should at least get RPM working again.

All,

I have been working on an issue with SQLite versions and uninstalled
SQLite. This in turn took out YUM and RPM. How can I get at least the
RPM back so I can install the rest of the stuff back?
