I note that RHN is starting to push Firefox/Thunderbird/xulrunner 10.0.1.
Setting aside the fact that there are dependency issues at the moment (the
right versions of nss, nspr, etc. are still missing) is Red Hat aware that
Sun/Oracle ILOMs (intergrated lights out management cards) for a large
number of Sun/Oracle SunFire models with version 3.x firmwares will no
longer be accessible?
A relevant bug-filing for this is:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=694931
This is going to be a bit of an issue for a moderately large number of
people. I know we can install another browser, but that's not really the
point.
There's a potential fix here:
http://aszeszo.blogspot.com/2011/10/sun-ilom-fix-for-modern-firefox.html
I haven't tried it yet.
