Hey Dag! What a wonderfully topical reply! I will check out your stuff later today or tomorrow - I have a "virgin" system and can blow it up at will for a little while. I was able to get RHEL 5.5 working with the Adaptec 7.1 DVD drivers, but not from any drivers I found on the Adaptec website [[bizarre]]. All the website drivers either reported "not for this version (6.x)" or found no aacraid drives(5.x). --Bill
