Hi,

I am either having problems with my email or no-one answered this. I am sorry if it's
an inconvenience. For the structure of MgB2 see Marsh, J. Am. Chem. Soc. 76, 1954,
1434 as well as Naslain, Guette and Barret in J. of Solid State Chemistry 8, 1973, 68.
The last one is an excellent paper (from CNRS, like Armel, -)) if you want to start
making MgB2 or other borures by yourself, but it is in french. I've done some
refinements on this MgB2 recently, typically there are some impurities in the
commercial MgB2 accounting for 3-4 % of MgO and a little bit of other stuff.
Regards
N
