Hello all!

I would like to suggest some changes for the GNOME client
that would, by my judgment, make it more simple and
consistent with GNOME design as whole. In the mock-ups I am
including features which are not yet implemented in Ring, but
are planned (as far as I know).

If my understanding is correct, then as of now there is no
standard way to make or handle contacts and Ring kind of only
acts as a telephone. A client can assign names to numbers/IDs
for itself, though.

How are contacts going to be handled in the future? Since
we'll be getting decentralized profiles, will those be
exchanged as contacts?

My main block is with adding contacts. Are we going to need
to send someone a request they will have to accept before we
can text them and call them? Or will we be able to text and
call someone without them accepting our request?

Thank you in advance
