Hi, I was wondering whether someone had access to a USB Analyzer that could be used to figure out how the firmware upgrade writes the upgraded firmware to the Rio500 Flash memory. Alternatively, could someone provide me with pointers for obtaining one so I could figure out how it is done? I live in Berlin, Germany. Another possibility would be to write a device driver that emulates the RioPort driver and logs the commands sent - does anyone have information what interface the RioPort driver offers to applications? Someone mentioned that it was very similar to an example driver from Microsoft, but there seem to be some important subtle differences in how connection is set up with the Rio. There must also be an additional interface to transmit commands before the bulk transfers take place. Could someone please enlighten me? I just can't seem to figure it out myself...
