Depends on your OS, etc.
On Windows, I use CDex to wav, and then use FlacfrontEnd to 
compress and tag. I have CDex set the file/path to match the
artist/album/nn-trackname

On Linux, I use grip.

Either approach gets the data from Freedb/CDDB.
If you do hundreds (I did about 700) you
will find that for most pop, Freedb gets it close
to correct. For more serious jazz and clasical,
it does a bad to terrible job. So I did 
a lot of manual fixups.

I strongly suggest doing a few batches of four or
five CDs at a time. Work up a process that works
for you and your tunes.
