Depends on what you mean by 'native' format.  The Squeezebox2 itself
can only decode MP3, FLAC & WAV (PCM).  This is generally what people
refer to as native decoding - the decoding ability of the device
itself.  What this really means is that only these formats can be
streamed across the link (wired or wireless) by SlimServer.

But SlimServer will have no problem playing WMA and a host of other
formats by transparently transcoding the format on the fly during
playback.  WMA will be transcoded to FLAC with no loss of quality.  A
couple formats may require you to install some decoding or encoding
software, but once that's done the process really is transparent.  All
it requires is a few more CPU cycles of work by the server.  So there's
no need to either rerip or transcode your entire collection into another
format.
