True.  I should have mentioned that I'm using my Squeezebox to add
audio to a room that until recently had no audio system.  Its not the
main listening room, so the quality of the audio isn't as important as
in the living room.

I've hooked up a Squeezebox to an older NAD amplipher and some extra
speakers.  The whole setup is stereo only, so I don't mind the lack of
5.1/6.1 audio this conversion yields.  I typically use the stereo mix
on a SACD of DVD-A when doing this, so I'm only downsampling the stereo
stream, not remixing as well.

To me, the results are "good enough".  If I want to listen to the extra
resulotion (or the surround mix) I use the original disc in the living
room, not the squeezebox.
