You could store all of your songs in one folder because SlimServer uses
the tags in the files to determine what they contain. It would be
quite unorganized unless you made the filenames something like "Artist
- Album - Track # - Song Title". But then you'd have some pretty long
filenames.
I have a folder for each CD. The folder is named "Artist - Year -
Album". The folder contains a file for each track on the CD. Those
files are named "Track # - Song Title". Some people have a folder for
each artist and folders within that folder for each CD by that artist
("Artist\Album\Track"). I like the flatter structure I use.
EAC makes it easy to keep your files organized. Just set up the naming
scheme the way you want it and EAC will create the folders for you as
you rip.
