Thanks, I found the Rescan button and things look better, although I still have a "No Album" which contains all kinds of stuff. I'll have to sort this out. No hurry.
Trying to rip a CD I find that one of the tracks just won't rip. Speed downgrades, drive stops and restarts, and eventually EAC crashes.
