Hello, i've been reading so many bits of info dispersed among different thread on the board about this, that i feel compelled to try and focus your valued users opinions under the same title.
So i learnt that EAC is superior to any other software to rip CDs, and there are links to tutorials that help us newcomers for "painless" set-up but i was wondering if there's more to EAC vs. dbpoweramp than the fact that EAC reads the same track several times ( depending on set-up ) and maybe dbpoweramp don't. ...because if it's just about it ( accuraterip is available for both ), well then maybe we could consider dbpoweramp ( better user interface ) as an excellent competitor, or am i missing something ? have you ever used both ? why do you prefer one over the other ? is there more than just "paranoid" ( several passages read ) mode to EAC that dbpoweramp do not offer as well ? ...as the title says, this comparison is about ripping to FLAC ( mainly ) THANKS for feedback guys !=) -- kronos ------------------------------------------------------------------------ kronos's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=728 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=18827 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
