OK, I have finally reached the point of frustration. I am attempting to
rip CDs using EAC with MAREO and FLAC. Eventually, I want to get
iTunesEncode working, too, for AAC encoding, but I decided to try tohis
in small steps. It took me many attempts to even be able to get a file
output, but I now can at least get that. However, I cannot get the
files to organize themselves into a
\FLAC\<artist>\<album>\<track-title> directory structure. I am trying
to save the files to a LinkStation set up through a router. (I have
not yet installed SlimServer on the LinkStation, it is on my Win XP PC
for now).

Here is the configuration information that I can think of that might be
important:

EAC
- Filename is set to %N-%T
- Directory is set to M:\Temp WAV\ (I have mounted the LinkStation
shared folder as M:\)
- External Compression command line options:
scrnON logON mareo.ini "%n-%t" %s %d "%a" "%g" "%t" "%n" %y "%m"

MAREO.ini:

EXT = flac
PATH = M:[EMAIL PROTECTED]@[EMAIL PROTECTED]@\
ENCODER = C:\Program Files\FLAC\flac.exe
PARAMETERS = -6 "@source@" -o "@finalfullname@" -T artist="@artist@" -T
album="@album@" -T title="@title@" -T tracknumber="@track@" -T
[EMAIL PROTECTED]@ -T genre="@genre@" -T comment="EAC (Secure MOde)"

I have tried putting the MAREO command into a batch file and running
from a DOS window. If I remove the "@[EMAIL PROTECTED]@[EMAIL PROTECTED]" from
the path,
I can get the file to save to M:\FLAC\. When I put them back in I get
the error message below from FLAC.

"An error occured opening the output file; it is likely that the output
directory does not exist or is not writable, the output file already
exists and is not writable, or the disk is full."

The M:\FLAC directory does exist, but the subdirectory does not. My
only guess is that there is a permissions problem or a naming problem.
I was able to have FLAC create subdirectories in one case, but I have
tried so many things today, that I am not sure if I remember how I did
it.

I apologize for the newbie question here, but I have tried everything I
can think of, including every set of parameters that I could find
online.

Thanks in advance for the help.
