Though I'm totally on the fence now, I'd still like to thank everyone for their input.
I haven't any loyalty to using Apple Losseless or iTunes either - it was more of a convenience since I've been an iPod user for about a year now. I've got an Alpine head unit in my car that controls my iPod natively from the head unit; it's a marriage in heaven - haven't used CD's in my car in ages. EAC and that flac2mp3 script does sound pretty impressive... eech - why the hell does this choice have to be so difficult? ;-) And although I have quite an abundant amount of storage (1000 Gigs, not 1024), mirroring a smaller portion of my library for my iPod seems like a waste of space. *SIGH* What to do.... what to do... I'll get it all sorted out somehow guys, and let you know what happens.
