Well, prior to a system restart it was taking in excess of 10 to 15 minutes a disc to rip - far too long for me to wait. ;-)
However, I restarted my computer and EAC seems to run a bit speedier now when using "Secure Mode". I've now plugged in my 2nd DVD-ROM and now get two CD's ripped in about ~5 minutes a ripping session. I'm also using "Album Cover Art Download" to get album art to each folder as I rip; I like the ability to be able to browse through the artwork through SlimServer. Many thanks to all again for these invaluable tools and your advice. It never ceases to amaze me - the amount of resources available to us - as audiophiles and music fans - through the Internet. Slim Devices, in my opinion, are the single most important company to come along since the invention of the phonograph!
