Hi Having previously had an MP3 collection, I used MP3Gain to give me track gain for the files. I set the "target value" as 91db as this was an acceptable value to me for not only intended "loudness" but did not result in any clipping. Now, having converted the lot into FLAC (re-ripping is such a PITA!) I made the foolish mistake of not getting EAC to give each song a track gain. I am now trying to rectify this. I have read almost all the threads on this board about using metaflac, foobar and Robin's script. I am trying to get not only track gains but also album gains this time - to make use of the "smart gain" function in SS. My problem lies in how to set my own "target level" for the ReplayGain. I think I have decided that foobar is the way to go for adding the RG, but where do I (or can I?) specify the target level??
