Is there software that will edit a track to allow you to attenuate the low frequencies? The David Gray album White Ladder has low frequencies that drive my subwoofer crazy. I don't think it's a bad rip, although my daughter now has the CD, so I can't try ripping it again. Particilarly bad is Sail Away and a few other tracks. I don't want to adjust my sub everytime I play this album. Do audio programs allow you to adjust volume below a certain frequency? These low notes are way down there -- hardly even musical, but they're clearly in spots that appear to be part of the recording.
