Hi It always impresses me that developers/inventors of the standards we use so frequently appear on these boards to help out... thanks! I am not clear what you meant about the " tweakable preamp setting". This does not appear to be something that is tweakable by me at the present time, is that correct?? On a slight side note: one detriment of using the "lower" reference value is that the visualisations on the SB3 are less "dynamic" than when compared to the un-replaygained track. In such that the transients are the majority of the motion seen, with little or no baseline - this is particularly noticeable on the spectrum analysers. I _know_ this is just aesthetics, but it still gets to me a bit!! How about using the pre-replaygain data as the driving force to the visualisations? Or is this not possible (admits to not knowing jack about where the feed to the visualisers come from!!)
