Yeah, Foobar2000 fubar'ed ALL of my ID3 v2 tags - hundreds of hours of work - when I applied ReplayGain to my whole collection.
When it writes the ReplayGain tags, it DELETES the v2 tags and writes a new v1 tag. Worst of all, I re-synched my collection to the backup drive immediately, so I could preserve those nifty ReplayGain tags! I'm slowly going through my collection and retagging everything. It will take many months, since I am also researching the release date of each song to write to the YEAR tag.
