I've looked here and elsewhere on the web, and haven't found an answer to this. I currently have all my music as 192 kbs wma files. I've done some tag clean up, plus rating, and using some custom tags to indicate mood of the track.
If I want to re-rip to wma lossless (yes, I've read most of the flac vs wma lossless threads), will it keep the tags and just replace the file, will it create a duplicate file (with/without the tags), or something else unexpected? Any tips from anyone who has done this already?
