I agree with Mark - I don't think this is an offset problem. I have also had problems ripping several CDs which are extra long compilations, not just with EAC but also when trying other programs as well. In some cases I have had success by moving to a different CD drive. In others I've given up on the last track or two as being unrippable (which isn't as serious on a compilation as it would be on a "normal" CD).
