IMO, disc parameters are for physical media; there's no need for them in a server-based collection. I treat everything as a single album, even boxed sets. I just tag them 01/84 - 84/84 or whatever.
Why carry over the limitations of the previous format? CDs aren't labeled Side A and Side B.
