After my earlier installation of the Direct Show filters needed to enable Windows Media Player -to play FLAC files (from http://www.illiminable.com/ogg/), thanks to your hint I searched and found a program called WMP Tag Support Extender here... http://wmptagext.sourceforge.net/ It's a small 350 Kb download - I installed it, and Voila! Full Flac support on my new computer's Media Center!!!
