Audiophiles are the only folks spending $400 or more like $2000 for a CD player/transport. There is much more than sound quality involved with making an audiophile want to spend money. Sometimes the price is an incentive, a $4,000 CD player has to be better than a $20 one. The style, size, finish, etc. all are important. And sometimes is as much "I've got so much money that I can afford to waste it". -- Pat http://www.pfarrell.com/music/slimserver/slimsoftware.html _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
