By the way, there's another thing which will really help - the
Squeezebox and the Transporter are 100% controllable from the
SlimServer web interface.  So if your screen reader can handle the
SlimServer web interface (it ought to, there's nothing special about
it) then you can control anything you can with the remote.  Volume,
start/stop, pause, power on/off, etc.

You'll need a wireless laptop/Nokia 770/800 in your listening position
though.
