Hi Robin! When I type "dir /s d:\flacs" I get my complete library of songs scroll by lightening fast. The Dos command window only shows the last 3 or 4 directories with Gendre's (highest level directories under D:\flacs). All the earlier Gendre's have scrolled by too quickly to be seen and can't be held in the command window. Within each last 3 or 4 Gendre's that are visible, all artists are listed, within each artist all albums are listed, within each album all songs are listed with the number of bytes of each song shown. At the last line of this list is: 1368 file(s) 22,768,612,500 bytes 455 Dir(s) 376,000,659,456 bytes free and then c:\utils> [blank line waiting for a new command]
When I type: c:\utils> flac2mp3.pl --debug D:\flacs D:\mp3s I get same result as I listed in my original message and question: Processing directory: D:\flacs -1 flac files found. Sorting...done. c:\utils> [blank line waiting ofr a new command No new info is displayed with the --debug switch.
