I have Window XP and you can have multiple libraries/directories now with the latest version of Itunes. And that is great to have two directories and I guess you only have the slimserver linked to your lossless directory but unless I ripped my whole collection again to lossless I will lose a lot of music just using the lossless directory and when I link both directories then the duplicate songs by album are picked up at the two different bit rates. One thing I might do is add the word lossless to the comments section in Itunes so I can search for that word when I am looking for the highest quality version but still wish there was a way to add songs to the slimserver library but if a duplicate to only add the higher bit rate version.
