I'm hoping this is the right forum for this question. If not, please let
me know and I'll repost elsewhere.

So, here goes... I've got a Transporter and Ready-NAS NV+ that I've
been happily ripping my CDs to in flac format. I've been enjoying my
setup (played through an NHT Xd amp/active speaker setup) since the
beginning of this year.

I've also got a first gen Dell Digital DJ mp3 player that works just
fine. Its 20GB big and has a smorgasborg of mp3 files from a variety of
sources (musicmatch, kazaa, etc - all encoded with suspect bit rates,
varying quality, some DRM'd and some not). Most if not all of those
mp3s have been re-ripped from the original CDs into flac onto my
Ready-NAS. Now its time to clear off the smorgasborg of mp3s on my Dell
Digital DJ and re-encode them from flac to mp3 with a consistent bitrate
(320kbps) and _NO_ DRM.

To do this, I'm using Redchair Software's very user friendly Deubox
Explorer (formerly Dudebox Explorer) running on Windows XP. I can point
Deubox across the net to specific songs, artists or albums on my
Ready-NAS box and transfer/encode them to mp3 on my DJ which is
connected to the XP box via USB. To be honest with you, I was very
pleasantly surprised at just how easy this was to set up and do.

The trouble comes when I want to grab just a playlist worth of songs
from the Ready-NAS NV+. Deubox doesn't seem to understand Slimserver's
playlist format. Its stored as an *.m3u file just like the Dell's
playlists, but when you open them, there are obvious differences.

I guess this is a longshot, but a) has anyone else gone down this path
or b) does anyone have any insight into how to pull songs from the
Ready-NAS by playlist? Thanks for any help.
