FINALLY! SUCCESS!!! I decided to make a another run at this after the recent ReadyNAS & SqueezeCenter software upgrades. I'm finally able to do what I set out to do years ago. Using Deubox, I can transfer my flac library by playlist to my old DELL Digital DJ. I've got to tweak my playlists just a wee bit (2 separate search & replaces), but it finally works. I'd say it works almost painlessly, but there was a lot of pain getting to this point. Anyway, I'm probably the only guy on the planet with this setup, so its probably not going to do anyone else any good, but I wanted to post anyway. -- Ken Rahaim Ken Rahaim ReadyNAS NV+ w/ SlimServer 6.5.4 Linux (in home office) -> Linksys Wireless-G 2.4GHz Broadband Router -> wifi -> -> Transporter (in great room) -> 'NHT Xd 2.2' (http://nhthifi.com/2006/s-s-ultimate.html) -> Squeezebox (in game room) -> 'Emotiva BPA1' (http://www.emotiva.com/bpa1.html) x 2 -> 'NHT IW3' (http://nhthifi.com/2006/products/s/iw3.html) -> Squeezebox (in basement) -> leftover, elcheapo Onkyo Home Theater in a Box -> Softsqueeze 3.5 on OSX 10.4.11 -> 'Monsoon MM702 Flat Panel Speakers' (http://www.amazon.com/Monsoon-MM-700-3-Piece-Computer-Speakers/dp/B00004VUJI) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ken Rahaim's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9526 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=39134 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
