One other good thing... The performance of transcoding from FLAC 1.2.0 to LAME MP3 -V 2 vbr "new" using dBpoweramp Reference Batch Converter Ver. 12.3 has also just about doubled using a Core 2 Duo. I just transcoded about 50 CDs worth FLAC files and was surprised by the improved performance. The graphical interface of the converter shows the two cores in action as each processes a separated FLAC file.... Nice!
