I use EAC to do the conversion to FLAC, then run db poweramp's batch converter on the rip directory while I'm snoozing in the hammock. Have the converter leave the mp3 files in the same directory as the flacs. Then run MP3Tag on each folder - select all flacs and mp3's at once - that way your tag editing need only be done once, and you can add album art at this stage as well. The go to your directories, sort by type, snip out the mp3's with a copy of the playlist and folder.jpg for art, and paste the mp3's into their own folder. Run notepad on the mp3 playlist - "replace all" to change .flac to .mp3 and you are done. Whew...
