I have experience with problematic discs that wouldn't rip successfully in one drive but would in another. Definitely worth a try. Since you don't have another drive/PC to use, perhaps you could try one of your friend's? Work? Library? You may also try extracting indivudual tracks. Try track 2, 3, 4, etc. You may find that it is only the first track that is a problem. You can then concentrate on that. You may also find that drive A will rip tracks 1, 2, and 3, but drive B can rip tracks 1 and 3, but not 4. If it becomes a major PITA, then you can look at buying another copy, going to EBay or Amazon if it is OOP. Pritate Bay may be worth a look too.
