In SqueezeCenter terms you only want to use the term "compilation" to
describe a "various artists" album. The other has no special meaning
to SqueezeCenter and is treated just like any other "single artist"
album.
If you're not talking in these forums, or about an album tagged as a
compilation (say, in respect to iTunes) then continue to use the term
"compilation". The only time the term comes up here to describe a
greatest hits type of compilation is in regard to the problem of
sorting albums when using the album title as a criteria. All the "Best
of", "Greatest Hits" album names have caused problems for SqueezeCenter
in the past.
