I have some cassettes recorded in my old 'garage band' days that I want to rip onto my computer and play through squeezecenter.
I've got inputs on my sound card and Audacity. What have you guys found as a good average/peak dB level at which to record music saved as mp3? I want it the range of ripped CDs. On another note, do products like MP3Gain work good with squeezebox and effectively level out different CD volumes? The newer CDs seem to be much louder than the older ones and I'm tired of running for the remote! I see Squeezebox will support the replay gain tags... Thanks for any advice.. kind of a newbie here! -- ZenRhapsody ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ZenRhapsody's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19008 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=50824 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
