No, what I meant with "what I'm doing now" was referring to the
playback functionality: I download the active playlist ("metadata for a
plurality of media items that is part of a larger plurality of media
items on the server") to the iPhone and then, after a user interaction,
load and play the tracks ("content of a plurality of media items").
What Apple describes, however, is the one function everybody has been
missing on iPhone and iTouch from the very first moment: sync parts of
your database to your iPod/iPhone without having to connect it to the
computer, but OTA.
